Michael Olivier’s Summer Sauvignon Blanc Pairing

 

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is vibrant and aromatic, easy drinking and the perfect pairing to fresh Summer salads.

Glen Carlou winemaker, Johnnie Calitz, describes the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc as “a vibrant styled Sauvignon Blanc, expressing layered notes of passion fruit, guava and pear. On the palate the wine confirms an array of tropical fruit, ripe fig and gooseberry aromas underscored by a crisp minerality, leading to a gentle finish. There is a continued presence of gooseberry, capsicum and granadilla throughout, leaving the palate appealing for more.”

In accordance with Government mandates announced December 28th, we are required to close our Visitor Centre in totality. Our Restaurant, Tasting Centre and Art Gallery will not be accessible and remain shuttered until we are advised that operating is legally permitted again.
