On the 14th February the second Cape Wine Auction was held at Boschendal Estate. We are pleased to announce that our lot contributed R160,000 towards the R10.5 million raised on the day.
All of the money is allocated to various educational charities around the Western Cape.
Once again, Donald Hess donated a work from his private collection by South African artist, Deryck Healey called ‘Well’. This is a rather imposing piece made up of two items, acrylic on canvas and wood (280 x 152 cm (canvas) and 176cm diameter (wood)).
The lot also included a collection of five vintages of our Quartz Stone Chardonnay and a private lunch or dinner at Glen Carlou.
