Gallery at Glen Carlou

Have you visited the Gallery @ Glen Carlou?

The 480 square meter space was built specifically to house collections of artwork and installations. Today this light and humidity controlled space is home to contemporary South African art and features the exhibition Lines of de-Limitation.

Pierre le Riche, Gallery @ Glen Carlou’s curator, is a recognised South African artist known for his colourful installations and impressive sculptures. Besides being featured in galleries across South Africa, he recently showcased an event installation – Hologram H10, created for Cartier’s Coloratura jewellery exhibition in the Beijing Minsheng Art Museum in Beijing, China.

The current exhibition, Lines of de-Limitation, is Pierre’s first curatorial project for Glen Carlou and features art and installations by Zyma Amien and Ingrid Bolton.

Take a virtual tour through the Gallery @ Glen Carlou and discover the ideas behind this thought-provoking exhibition through the words of artists Zyma and Ingrid.
