A rehabilitated quarry is the siting for this single vineyard wine. The vines are drip-irrigated and trained on a 5-wire Perold trellis system, in soils which consist of weathered granite and ‘koffieklip’. Despite the previous dry seasons the vines exhibited good growth over the growing time of year, with the quality and concentration showing in the finished wine.
