A fantastic new menu now available in the Restaurant @ Glen Carlou. Our unique Autumn menu draws attention to Chef Johan’s creative use of flavourful and fresh produce. Leafy greens and colourful vegetables garnish a selection of dishes. From seared salmon to slow-roasted tomato soup, through cashew tortellini, a robust fillet of beef or petit Poisson – every taste sensation will delight.

“We are a restaurant that does good honest South African influenced food. Not fine dining, but rather a finer type of dining. I use basic French methods, but there is always a twist – a childhood memory, chef, country or ingredient which I like.” – Executive Chef Johan Stander.

Each season our team spends a great deal of time to adjust the flavour combinations in each dish in order to perfectly pair with the Glen Carlou wine portfolio. Each dish is listed with a recommended wine pairing option to guide your Glen Carlou food and wine experience, should you choose to.

You are still able to place orders online, but we will only be able to dispatch them once government regulations change. Orders will then be prioritized according to the date on which it was placed and paid for delivery.
